“Art is the most intense mode of individualism that the world has known.” – Oscar Wilde In this series we shine a light on artists expressing their individuality, documenting what they love, working hard on their craft, and sharing it with the world. Chris Glaze is an Auckland born and raised landscape photographer who travels New Zealand and the world, exploring and capturing what the earth has to offer. How did you get started in photography? I’ve had an interest in photography from a young age. I first really took it seriously when I went backpacking for three years – To View More >>

New square frames! After feedback on our Facebook group, Queensberry Insider, we realised we needed more square sizes in our range. They're a great idea for multi-aperture displays, as in the graphic, and also in frame groupings. We've launched three new sizes to fill the gaps: 16x16, 20x20 and 24x24. The new sizes offer all our options — matted, un-matted, floating (torn-edge) and mounted canvas.  You can order frame corners here or order a completed sample frame here. We offer 25% sample discount on frames, and regular customers can earn Tier Discount on their To View More >>

Congratulations to the winners of the 2018 International Wedding Photographer of the Year awards. The competition was a great success with more than double the entries of 2017, and over sixty countries represented. The overall winner was Australian Dan O’Day, but of course closest to our hearts was the album category, sponsored by Queensberry, which was taken out by a beautiful entry from Latvian photographer Linda Lauva. It tells the story of a small and very charming DIY wedding on the bride and groom's land, by the river, deep in the Latvian countryside. You can see To View More >>

Even with digital images and online galleries everywhere, the most impressive way to show off your work is with a printed portfolio. A printed book shows more than your photography skills. It expresses your design abilities, your taste in materials and your high standards as an artist. If you're thinking about creating your own portfolio, here are some ideas to get you started. They're not like wedding and portrait albums Sample albums normally mimic what you want to sell. They show prospective clients what to expect, and help them visualise their To View More >>

Travel photographer Lola is a Kiwi born and bred, and her work inspires the adventurer in all of us. She has a bubbly and life-affirming attitude that shines through her photography, and motivates us to get out and explore. We’ve partnered with Lola in her photography exhibition, Aqua Frizzante. Driven by the calmness and solitude the ocean can bring, she focuses on movement and textures as she floats alone, with a more abstract approach than we’re used to. We can’t wait to see what she’s installed. Details below.  Lola got into photography at a pretty young age, To View More >>

WPPI 2014 was an exciting time for Queensberry, not least because it was there that Sonya and I first met Gregory Georges. He's featured in The New York Times Magazine, Sports Illustrated and many other magazines. Greg spent several years in software marketing and sales, including five years in England.
